Nord-Lock steel washers are suitable for any general steel application.

Temperature range: -50°C to 200°C

All washers are laser marked with Nord-Lock brand name, control number and type code for increased traceability down to the raw material in the factory.

** In order to assure the unique mechanical wedge-locking function of the Nord-Lock washers, the hardness of the contact surfaces must be lower than the hardness of the Nord-Lock washers. Go to the washer selection guide for the hardness conversion table.

This product is suitable for all general applications. Washers with an enlarged outer diameter (SP) have the same inner diameter as the standard washers. They are designed to be used together with flanged bolts and nuts (ISO 4161,4162) on oversized and slotted holes, or on sensitive surfaces and soft materials.

The washer is through hardened to make sure it is harder than the bolt and contact surface. It is treated with Delta Protekt®, a surface coating that provides very high corrosion protection. Nord-Lock washers work with all common bolt grades such as 4.8, 5.6, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.
