In this issue, we spoke with experts focusing on reliability. As society demands lighter, faster and quieter applications – can we trust them to remain reliable? This question becomes even more urgent when taking into account the increasing challenges caused by nature and climate change.

One example of a catastrophe caused (in part) by natural factors was the collapse of the Ponte Morandi Bridge in Genoa during a rainstorm. The bridge has now been re-built with reliability and safety as a priority. We also visited the amusement park Gröna Lund, in Stockholm, Sweden, where our products are used to secure their popular attractions.
