We are also humble about the fact that there are no silver bullets – no single initiative, product, or service alone can untangle complex sustainability issues. However, as a global company with operations and employees in every corner of the world, we recognize our strong position to send off positive ripple effects with the right, mindful choices.   

Ongoing work: The Science Based Target Initiative

We have joined the Science Based Target Initiative to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to levels stipulated in the UN Paris Agreement. Based on what we learned from a meticulous collection of data, we have been able to focus our actions on reducing emissions related to our work with distributors. 

Code of Conduct: Getting our Business Partners on the same page

How our customers and suppliers hold up to human rights, working conditions, and environmental protection has a significant impact on our aggregated sustainability impact. Therefore, our Code of Conduct for Business Partners, specifying the sustainability requirements for doing business with us, makes sure that our products are not used in contexts where sustainability issues get neglected and that we stay clear from sourcing unsustainable materials or services. But the conduct goes both ways – what our business partners commit to, we also commit to ourselves.
