Coupling Bolts

Superbolt expansion sleeve bolts replace standard bolts to increase worker safety and reduce bolt and hole damage.

A conical bore sleeve is fitted onto a conical body bolt in clearance condition for the hole. The sleeve is held in place inside of the hole while the bolt is pulled through, thus expanding the sleeve into the hole to give a truly fitted bolt. By subsequent removal of the bolt from the sleeve, the sleeve retracts in diameter and the sleeve is again removed in clearance condition, preventing bolt and hole damage.

Superbolt EzFit mechanical coupling bolts have been developed to be easily installed and removed using only simple hand tools. Specially designed captive jackbolt and split sleeve technology is used to provide greater expansion capability and reliable operation for gas turbines, steam turbines, and ancillaries.
